Our Mission
The purpose of this site is to connect those that have been to the bench, whether they knew Chase or not.
The purpose of Visitor’s Log is to simply share who has been here and any positive comments. There is no list, you won’t be spammed. If people connect to share positivity, that is wonderful!
The Story
Chase lived in Carmel Valley and left the physical world after a long battle with mental illness. He will always be in our hearts, and this bench serves as a place to connect: connect with yourself, with nature, with others, and with the energy of the universe.
The Dedication Event
On Wednesday November 30th, 2022, it was one year since Chase left us. We gathered at the Bench at 4pm to remember Chase, listen to some live music, say a few words and see a beautiful sunset. More on this event is here. It will be an annual event.
