    Chase’s Family
    Keymaster

Thanks for stopping by! Chase left the physical world on 11/30/2021 after a long struggle with mental illness. He was 14. With the help of our community, we built this bench to be a place to connect, whether they knew Chase or not. It is a place to connect with your self, nature, friends, family, and the universe. Please enjoy, and also respect this beautiful preserve.

I hike in the canyon almost everyday. I stop by Chase’s bench about once a week. This is a wonderful place to reflect and connect with those we love who have passed on to another realm.
I never knew how much I loved, until my love turned into grief.

    Chase, you were loved.

I don’t know where this is or who created it. But thought that Chase’s loved ones might want to know someone created it a Point of Interest (POI) in games by Niantic, such as Pokemon GO. Stumbled across an edit for this while reviewing nominations. POI review

    Chase,

Although I never met you…  I unknowingly mountain biked to this bench and I’m so glad I did! I paused to reflect on all the blessings I have in my family. I’m sure you’re missed everyday. God bless you. ❤️

Found the bench incidentally on a hike while visiting for a work trip. What a gorgeous tribute. I lost my best childhood friend years ago when he had to bow out early. This bench reminded me to take time to honor his life and reflect on how precious and tenuous our time here is. Chase must have been so very loved.

I come here knowing that this is a place where there has been deep love and deep pain. I come usually to pray about all the hard things, and feel comfort in knowing that others have come here before me and experienced love, grief, joy, and peace. Thank you for building this lovely place of solace.
