Thanks for stopping by! Chase left the physical world on 11/30/2021 after a long struggle with mental illness. He was 14. With the help of our community, we built this bench to be a place to connect, whether they knew Chase or not. It is a place to connect with your self, nature, friends, family, and the universe. Please enjoy, and also respect this beautiful preserve.

Moving to see how much Chase was loved by his troop and those around him. Praying that his bench serves as a reminder for every passerby to not take their loved ones for granted and reach out to their friends out of love.

An unexpected reward for climbing that big hill. Very quiet up here and a great place to reflect. May Chase rest peacefully.

A friend and I had the pleasure to meet Chase’s dad and his friends while we were there. They were maintaining the bench and we were kindly invited to help them. It was an honor to help and share the meaning of this bench. I will definitely remember this moment every time I pass by there. With love, Marco and Andrew

Wonderful view, Chase and I share the same birthday. I hope he lived to the best he could and is in a much happier place looking down on all of us.
