Thanks for stopping by! Chase left the physical world on 11/30/2021 after a long struggle with mental illness. He was 14. With the help of our community, we built this bench to be a place to connect, whether they knew Chase or not. It is a place to connect with your self, nature, friends, family, and the universe. Please enjoy, and also respect this beautiful preserve.

I always ran on this trail growing up and today saw this bench after a long time away from San Diego. My deepest condolences are with the family. This bench is a wonderful memory and reminder for the community that life is short and human connection runs deep. Thank you for a future resting spot to take breaks with family and friends.

I canโ€™t believe itโ€™s been a year since you left our beautiful world chase, you will be missed. I wish I could have been closer with you but the times we did have were good. You left our world far to early.
